I grew up in the area, left for 25 years while in the Navy and came home. To me this is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The Native stone fences, the Flint Hills all beautiful. I love both routes between Alma Kansas and Alta Vista Kansas. The first is K-99 to K-4 and the next is call the Volland Road from Alma to Alta VIsta.
