This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever come across on my rides. I am not Catholic but when you walk into this place you can feel the energy when you start reading the thousands upon thousands of letters and photographs of people that have made a pilgrimage to this place who have miraculously been healed it might change your mind or even give you a glimmer of hope. I know it did with me and even if you’re not into the church right across the street are many cool vendors making homemade tamales and other fantastic food! The route is a beautiful ride up into the mountains.
